    Since launching in New Jersey in 2008, the HISPA Role Model Program has expanded to New York, Texas, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Over the past three years, HISPA Role Models have shared their stories with more than 9,000 students in these states. Every time a student hears a HISPA Role Model tell their story, it makes an impression. In 2024-25, HISPA completed 357 Role Model Program sessions, making approximately 16,900 impressions across 40 schools.

    Steps to Become a HISPA Role Model:

    Onboarding:

    • Register to create an account in this portal using the following link.
    • Attend an online Onboarding session.
    • We will approve your account within 48 hours of completing these steps. If you are awaiting approval, please contact us at scheduling@hispa.org

    Preparing:

    • Complete your profile on the portal, including a brief biography and headshot photo.
    • Review and e-Sign the HISPA Role Model Code of Conduct.
    • Prepare and submit your HISPA Role Model Presentation.

    Note: During this stage, session registration is not available. However, HISPA staff can place a hold on a session by contacting us at scheduling@hispa.org.

    Presenting

    • Review the calendar on the HISPA Portal for opportunities and sign up to present at a date and a location that works for you. Sometimes in person, sometimes virtually!
    • Share your story with students and celebrate your amazing contribution to our future!
